Brew It Right: Getting the Best Out of Mamuli Beans

Great coffee deserves great preparation. Whether you're a home barista or just getting started, how you brew your Mamuli beans can elevate your cup from good to extraordinary.

Step One: Know Your Method
Different brew methods highlight different aspects of flavor. For example:

  • Pour-over (V60, Chemex) – Clean and nuanced; ideal for floral or citrusy beans

  • French Press – Full-bodied and bold; great for chocolatey or nutty coffees

  • Espresso – Intense and complex; a showcase for our carefully developed roast curves

Step Two: Use Freshly Ground Beans
Always grind just before brewing. Here’s a basic guide:

  • Pour-over: medium-fine

  • French Press: coarse

  • Espresso: fine

Investing in a burr grinder makes a world of difference.

Step Three: Water Quality and Temperature
Coffee is 98% water—so use clean, filtered water. Ideal temperature: 90–96°C.
