Description:
Ethiopia Guji is a gem from the highlands of southern Ethiopia — a region celebrated for producing some of the most vibrant and expressive coffees in the world. This particular lot is grown in the nutrient-rich red soils of Guji, at elevations between 1,900 and 2,200 meters above sea level. These high altitudes, coupled with traditional cultivation methods and heirloom varietals, result in a cup that is complex, aromatic, and unmistakably Ethiopian.
The natural (dry) processing intensifies the coffee’s fruity sweetness and deepens its complexity. In the cup, you’ll discover lush blueberry and ripe mango notes, balanced by floral hints of jasmine and bergamot. The body is juicy and velvety, with a lingering honeyed sweetness and a tea-like, elegant finish reminiscent of high-quality Darjeeling.
Why Guji stands out for specialty coffee businesses:
-
High cup quality: Delivers a truly distinctive profile that elevates any filter menu or seasonal espresso offering.
-
Perfect for hand brews: Ideal for V60, Chemex, and other slow brew methods that highlight clarity and florals.
-
Story in every sip: Traceable, ethically sourced, and grown with centuries of tradition — it’s a coffee that tells a story your customers will love.
Recommended for:
