Description:
Kenya Jane Kamau is a vibrant single-producer lot grown on a family-run estate in Kiambu County, just north of Nairobi. Jane Kamau, a second-generation farmer, cultivates traditional Kenyan varietals SL28 and SL34 on her small high-altitude plot, following meticulous agronomic and harvesting practices to achieve a cup of exceptional purity and intensity.
This coffee is fully washed and fermented with fresh spring water before being sun-dried on raised beds — a process that enhances clarity and structure. The result is a bold, juicy, and complex profile that showcases the best of Kenyan terroir.
Expect a signature burst of blackcurrant and grapefruit, underlined by savory-sweet tomato leaf and subtle rosehip florals. The sweetness is round and layered, like cane sugar, with a sparkling acidity and clean, winey finish that lingers long on the palate.
